In Staaten, die durch ein hohes Korruptionsniveau und andere gravierende Compliance-Risiken geprägt sind, ist es oftmals schwierig, saubere Geschäfte zu betreiben. Ein Weg, um die geschäftlichen Bedingungen vor Ort nachhaltig zu verbessern, sind gemeinsame Initiativen zwischen integren Unternehmen sowie staatlichen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteuren. Dieser so genannte Collective Action-Ansatz steht auch hinter dem Schulungsprogramm “¡De empresas, para empresas!“ (DEPE – von Unternehmen für Unternehmen), das von der GIZ mit Unterstützung der Deutsch-Argentinischen Industrie- und Handelskammer (AHK) entwickelt wurde und das offizielle Trainingsprogramm der Alliance for Integrity (AfIn) ist. Es bezweckt, ein korruptionsfreies Geschäftsumfeld und eine größere Transparenz im lateinamerikanischen Wirtschaftsraum (MERCOSUR) zu fördern. In einem Best Practice Interview berichten mit Dorothea Garff und Flavio Fuertes zwei Verantwortliche dieser Initiative in Argentinien über die Umsetzung des „DEPE“-Programms sowie die damit verbundenen Erfahrungen und Erwartungen.
In countries suffering under the burden of corruption and other severe compliance risks it is often quite difficult to run a clean business. One way for a sustainable improvement of the business settings in these areas are joint initiatives of companies of integrity and governmental as well as civil society actors. This so called collective action approach is the basis for the official training program of the Alliance for Integrity (AfIn) called “¡De empresas, para empresas!“ (DEPE – From Business, For Business) which was developed by the GIZ with the support of the German-Argentinian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK). This program “DEPE” is dedicated to further a business environment without corruption and an increased transparency in the Latin-American economic area (MERCOSUR).
